E-Induction T&C / Consent to share information

The e-academy is hosted externally from Nottinghamshire Healthcare Trust’s IT systems by our supplier Dynamic and will allow you the opportunity to access a host of materials prior, during and after your Induction. It can be accessed using both Trust computers and / or your own computer devices at home i.e. laptop / tablet.

In order to access the E-Induction packages you will need to provide Dynamic / Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust with some personal information including your forename / surname / date of birth, and consent to share this information with Dynamic / Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.

This information will enable Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust to administer your training account and update your Trust training record. Data relating to the training you have completed on the e-learning platform will be transferred securely to your training record on Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust’s internal training management system.

Once logged into the system you can view or update your information at any time by selecting the ‘Profile’ option on the top menu and then the ‘Edit profile’ option.

The site/service provider (Dynamic) uses cookies which are small files that a website or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. Dynamic use a cookie to remember your session ID once you are logged into the learning management system, this ensures that as you move from one page to another, it remembers your session ID and keeps you logged in, until such time as you decide to log out. Cookies are not stored for purposes of advertising or marketing. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Since each browser is a little different, look at your browser's help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. If you turn cookies off completely, this will prevent the proper functioning of the learning management system and it is unlikely that you will be able to effectively use the learning management system.

Dynamic will become the ‘data processers’ of the information you share and will be required to ensure that your personal information is processed in accordance with the Trust’s policies, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Act 2018 (UK DPA 2018).
