Mental Capacity Act eLearning – Important Update
From 1 September 2026, the DoLS (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards) module will be removed from the MCA eLearning courses and provided as a standalone course.
What you need to know:

MCA courses go live on 1 September 2026.

If you have started the current course, please complete it before this date.

Learners who do not complete the current course by 1 September 2026 will be required to complete the standalone DoLS course separately to remain compliant.
